Small pieces.
Everyday rooms.

I'm Jessa, a mosaic maker in Exeter. I turn saved tile fragments into small patterns for the places we pass through every day.

A pattern that stays with you

I like a mosaic at the scale of a windowsill or a tray: something you notice while doing something else. The kitchen panel began with the green of a chipped dish and the curve of a terracotta offcut. It sits beside a pot of chives, where changing daylight does more for it than a careful display ever could.

This is a personal collection of projects for my own home. Some are finished, some have taught me what to do differently, and all have made the box of spare pieces a little more interesting. I keep the drawings and the small decisions here so the next piece can begin with something learned.
